While the Getsu9 timeslot is well known for having romantic dramas year round, the only ones that are usually worth watching are those that air during the summer. Rich Man, Poor Woman has been the most successful one so far and there were rumors that it was going to return for a second season (which wasn’t too far-fetched considering all the dramas getting a second season these days), but I guess that fell through as it’s been announced that the new Getsu9 is Summer Nude with Yamapi as the leading man. Continue reading Yamapi reunites with Karina and Erika Toda for Summer Nude
We have reached the halfway point and for a show that has managed to move relatively quickly, this episode felt very slow. There was some movement, which is always good, but it was missing that punch that it usually delivers. Continue reading Itazura na Kiss~Love in Tokyo Episode 8

The end of 2012 offered quite a few interesting anime, but the only one that managed to catch my eye at the time was Shin Sekai Yori. I went into it when the show was more than halfway through its run, not really knowing what to expect since there was no real synopsis and came out seventeen episodes later craving the next episode. Oh yes, I had found a new crack. Continue reading Anime Spotlight #1: Shin Sekai Yori (From the New World)
After a loooooong break due to the Golden Week holiday, InK returned last Friday. I was worried that the break would kill my love for this show, and while I did feel my nerves grating a little with Kotoko this episode, InK continued to be winning as usual as Kotoko and Naoki’s relationship continues to take tiny steps forward. Continue reading Itazura na Kiss~Love in Tokyo Episode 6
Believe it or not, Itazura na Kiss isn’t the only thing I’ve been watching this season. Continue reading Spring 2013-Spinsters, Thieves, and Tutors
